Our slope maintenance team has gotten upper First Time Run and Silver Hollow runs ready to open tomorrow along with the Three Kings Lift - yeah more terrain! Silver Hollow will have terrain park features on it for now, including 3 jumps and 2 jibs while upper First Time run will be a good lower level route down from Three Kings. We're still working hard to try to provide additional terrain and lifts off the upper mountain, but Mother Nature isn't exactly lending a hand in the temperature department. If you take a look at the data from our Summit Weather Sensor, you can see that temperatures up there have been above 28 degrees since late Sunday night - not exactly ideal snowmaking weather! We still need about a solid days worth of optimal snowmaking to get Bonanza open so lets hope that temps get to at least the low 20s for awhile.
I'd like to put in a shameless plug for our upcoming Benefit Day which has now become Benefit Days! For only $25 you can purchase a lift ticket that is valid any day from December 7-25. The tickets must be purchased by December 7 and if you are using it any day aside from the 7th you will need to bring it to a ticket window. The best part of this (aside from cheap skiing and riding) is that all ticket proceeds will benefit the People's Health Clinic of Summit County, see their website for purchase locations, and remember that Benefit Day tickets are limited and must be purchased by this Friday! I hope that you will join us in supporting the People's Health Clinic and I hope to see you on the slopes.
[***UPDATE - tickets are almost sold out for the Benefit Day, PLEASE check with the locations noted on the People's Health Clinic website for availability.***]
[12/6/07 - tickets are now SOLD OUT - thanks to everyone for their support of the People's Health Clinic!]
Can you still use season passes on friday?
Eric replies:
Yes, season passes are valid - we only blacked out passes for Benefit Day when it was the day prior to scheduled opening day several season ago.

I was just wondering if the benefit day tickets can be purchased online or over the phone from any of the locations
Eric replies:
Jenny, we are not selling Benefit Day tickets here at the Resort, they are only available from locations that the People's Health Clinic has arranged - find a list at http://www.peopleshealthclinic.org/support/pcmr.html
I would call before you go as I've heard that the tickets are nearly sold out!
