The 2007-2008 winter season must be getting near as I've recently received a number of gear guides from Ski, Skiing, Transworld Snowboarding and Powder. To me this is the first sign that winter is just a few short months away and, as a matter of fact, last week SkiUtah celebrated 90 days until the 2007-2008 Ski Season by giving away snow cones down in Salt Lake City.
At Park City Mountain Resort we are selling our 2007-2008 winter season passes along with reservations for our Kids Signature Programs (our kids ski and snowboard school) and Ski and Snowboard Rentals.
I suppose what this really means is that we need to start getting ourselves into shape for another great winter season. I'm pretending to do this by playing in Park City's weekly Kick Ball league, but I would suggest activities more along the lines recommended here.
In the meantime, I look forward to seeing everyone up on the slopes in about 80-something days!
Hey I heard a romuor that there used to be a mini pipe up by the entrance to the King's Crown terrain park, Will there possibly be one this year??
Eric replies:
I don't know about the exact plans that our Park Crew has for the coming season, but I do know that we've created a new Terrain Park blog so that you can catch up on all the latest park news at http://parkcity.typepad.com/ride_park_city/. Have a great season!
