Each year Twsnow.com compiles the Top Ten Most Viewed Videos and we found our way into the number one spot. This exclusive video of Park City All Star Shaun White's Double McTwist 12 in the Eagle Superpipe caused an internet uproar. Olympics were around the corner and Shaun White was in full training mode here at the resort. Our Eagle Superpipe is set to open soon, real soon. Wonder what ground-breaking tricks will be caught on camera in 2011?!
"88,863 views. As of post time, footage of Shaun’s Gold Medal-winning double stunt has compiled more views than any other in 2010—more than double the next best, even. When this video dropped on the TWSnow.com website on January 22nd, internet hell broke loose. Olympics were in the air, double corks in the pipe were few and far between, and the redheaded one shot past the competition once again. Although, strangely enough, it was only Tweeted once. Last week in Park City, Utah Monster Energy unveiled its latest in athlete support—it's own Bagjump. A Bagjump is a huge multi chambered airbag used to practice landing jump tricks into. It eliminates the consequences of a hard landing and in this application gives skiers and riders a chance to learn and perfect new moves.
The inaugural session at Park City saw Park City team rider and recent addition to Monster Snowboarding, Sage Kotsenburg chip away at some heavy moves while getting ready to defend his 2010 Dew Tour Title in Men's Slopestyle. During the private PC session, Monster Snowboarding's Zak Hale and a few friends as well as Monster Skiing's Tom Wallisch and Alex Schlopy joined Sage on the hill.
Be on the lookout for Sage, Tom and the rest of the Monster Energy team at the first stop of the Dew Tour in Breckenridge, Colorado this week.
