SLUG Games Beat the Pro contest featuring Alice Gong, Nate Sheehan, Aaron Biittner, and Tim Russell. Filmed March 6th, 2010 @ Park City Mountain Resort by Cole Taylor.
Saturday, March 06, 2010 The SLUG Magazine crew took over Pick ’N Shovel Terrain Park with their “Beat the Pro” contest. The vibe at the contest was super mellow with pros Aaron Bittner, Nate Sheehan, Alice Gong and Tim Russell hanging out lapping Pick with the competitors. The idea was for competitors to go head to head with pro riders trick for trick. The Park City park crew made the contest a little more interesting and had the competitors compete in a traditional slopestyle contest before narrowing down both the field size and course length. The finals then turned into Beat the Pro, where the pro had to lay down a line that the competitors had to meet or beat…. I’m not really sure if there were any upsets today, but I can say for sure that all the competitors and pros were psyched on the atmosphere and vibe at the event. Thanks SLUG Magazine for bringing a SLUG Game to Park City Mountain Resort.
