Oooh the weather outside....

The weather outside is back to good 'ol overcast conditions and is forecasted to stay this way through the end of next week.  In the meantime, or until I get a ray of sun in the parks when I'm on the hill this week, here is a video Evan emailed me.  You can always reach me at parkinfo@pcmr.com  .  If you want to send in your Park City edits, I will be throwing a few up here or there.

Hey, I was just wondering if you guys are planning to set up some curved boxes and rails. Right now there's nothing except straight boxes and rails. If you guys have some S-boxes or C-boxes, we wanna hit em... Oh ya, all the jumps are absolutely sick. Thanks a TON.

Mike Replies:
Seth, features will start to vary as soon as my guys get the rest of the features dug out of the boneyard.

please please please please PLEASE don't put those dumb quarterpipes in the new jonesys. their good for nothing, nobody hits them and they are just a waste of space. you would be much better off with a normal stall wall but even better would be some good solid rails! love those 2 jumps bytheway but i liked last years setup much better. the new jibs in kings are awesome to and set up perfectly.

Hey,The jumps in upper joneseys are great. When will some jibs go up though? Thanks

If so will it be open to practice?
Why do you guys build the park only a day before the comp? Locals should have the advantage of riding it days before the comp.
Most mtns allow time for that.

Mike Replies:
With Jonesys being built and other projects that I am starting to fall behind on, we just don't have the manpower or time to build out weeks in advance. We have to schedule the day crew and night crew to have a few days a week where we mesh times together for a few people and do as much as we can. Like today, there was a race on payday so we did as much as we could as quickly as it could to put in features that would put us in FIS and USSA regulations for the comp on sunday, and still tried to open it for public to ride. After a little debaucle of people taking our closed signs and throwing them into the trees and taking our ropelines down, all day, it did open to the public for awhile. The crown will be open to the public all day tomorrow, but be aware it will be crowded with training going on as well. As for the locals thing, that's who i'm here for and I want everyone to have as much fun as they can, but there's only so much 5 people can get done during the day and 4 people can get done during the night...

Thanks for the questions :)

Where will The Rev tour slopestyle comp be held at?
Thanks!

Mike Replies:
Rev Tour Slopestyle will be held in Kings Crown.

Hey I see you guys have blown some snow into upper jonseys. Do you have any time frame on when you'll get that stuff open? Thanks a ton.
