Yep, that's right, we're not closing this Sunday because we've just extended our season through the following Sunday, April 19th! Here's the scoop (check back because some details could still change, I'll add/update as I get more info):
- PayDay
- Bonanza
- Silverlode
- Thaynes
- Jupiter
- First Time
- Three Kings
Park City Mountain Rentals, Legacy Cafe, Summit House, and Kristi's Coffee Cafe will also remain open through Sunday, April 19. Hours of operation will be the same.
Full-Day Lift Ticket Pricing will be as follows:
Adult: $50
Youth: $30
Senior: $35
Edit 4/10/09 - During our additional week of winter operations, we are extending a special single day 'locals' lift ticket rate of only $20 to all Deer Valley and The Canyons season passholders and employees (please present your pass or ID at the ticket windows)

So there's a vote for the 26th from DB. I wonder if DB stands for Duke Brothers - at the bottom of Payday monday morning yelling "Turn those machines back on!!!"

I signed up for my quick start voucher, but it says it can't be used after the 12th?? Is this just because of the anticipated closing date? Anyone know if I can still use it? 4 of us booked an early flight from MN for Thursday, and were really looking forward to that first warm up half day!

The way the forecast is looking one week extension might not be enough.
Eric replies:
MoSno, you never know, but I'd be sure to enjoy this week as many days as you can, because it looks like it should be a great mix of snow and spring!

Leavin' on a jet plane...
I'm on that like a cheap suit.
So what WON'T be open? Looks like everything leading down to King Con and the McConkey's/Pioneer side.
thanks
Eric replies:
Gonna be great to see you out here next week MoSno! I'm not exactly sure on what terrain will be open, obviously as you note, everything serviced by the lifts we detailed in our post...I'll update once I get more info.

Will they be honoring the quick start program next week? If I can get an early flight I might get a few runs in the first day.
thanks
Eric replies:
MoSno, you bet, QuickStart will be valid through our new closing day. You still need to go to parkcityinfo.com, fill out all information on their site and present it all at one of our ticket windows.
Hope to see you next week!
