Wow, we survive the Sundance Film Festival and then, bam we get wacked with a serious dose of winter! This storm came in with a huge blast this morning - we had a gust of over 80 mph up at our Jupiter weather station just before it went out at around 9:00am...we think it may have been storm related that the station went down, but we weren't able to get up to check it out as the winds were raging throughout the day. The blustery weather meant that we couldn't safely operate many of our lifts and therefore when we get the mountain open tomorrow morning, conditions should be really nice with a whole mountain of freshies to be had. Here's a screen shot I just captured from our summit cam and as you can see, the trees have a great dose of white on them. If you have a sick day to burn, it could be a great day to come down with a case of the "Powder Flu" (just don't tell your boss I said so). Hope to you see you out there!
