We've been talking this past week and it seems like the winter season has flown by this year. It feels like it was just a few days ago that we were bundling up tight to head out into the bitter cold that the beginning of December brought us... and now we're wrapping up another winter season (sigh). This year certainly didn't bring us the number of epic powder days that the last couple of seasons did, but I have to say that I had a ton of great days anyway, particularly some really fun days cruising the mountain on perfectly buffed out groomers (as well as a couple classic Utah pow days). To sum it up, a day on the mountain beats a day in the office, or just about anywhere else, no matter what the conditions are!
We had a fantastic turn out for our Step it Up 2007 action yesterday, I'd like to give a huge 'Thank You' to everyone who showed up and here's what it looked like:
The idea behind this photo is that, if you line up everyone's heads with Jupiter Peak, that would be about the 9500' line which is where the snow level will be in 2075 if global warming is left unchecked. This isn't what any of us want as we want to Save our Snow!
Have a great spring and we'll see you when we open for summer operations in just over a month on May 25th.
